Law Five
"A lean and enjoyable crime novel set in the sports world." Kirkus Reviews
When an Italian football referee confronts a terrifying match-fixing attempt, he discovers corruption has no limits. Law Five is an atmospheric, engaging character study that subverts expectations, functioning as a clever anti-thriller.
Ubbi Disco is a reference librarian from the Chicago suburbs and is a fan of all genres, particularly 19th-century French and Italian Naturalist/Decadent fiction. Inspired by his travels to the football pitches of Italy and Ukraine, Ubbi's debut thriller, Law Five, is a genre-buster illustrating a world both familiar and unfamiliar.
